Re: German
In germany we have already (since several years) those vehicle-inspections ...Bomber#1 kirjoitti: Not bad.
Btw. do you have these days any problems with modified fighters vehicle inspection. Any pull overs by the police and etc. shit?
and there´s a lot of problems ..
the vehicle-inspection-agency has a lot of rules, laws and limtations - specifically for those modified bikes ...
(position of lights, exhaust emission values, db(A)-Limit´s, GFK-material-expert-opinions, welding on Aluminium normaly not possible, self-made parts like brackets normaly not allowed, parts from other bikes normaly not allowed)
and befor you get a allowance to drive your modified bike at the regularly traffic-area -
you need a special assessment (expertise survey) which cost a lot of money, because there would be verified every single modified point ...
and not till all these point are satisfiable in the eye of the evaluator - you will get the vehicle registration ...
for a normaly bike - not modified - you can by parts with an ABE (vehicle-type-approval) - that´s not so difficult with the special assessment - and you get easily your vehicle registration.
the problem is - the police can in a normaly control on the street - suspect or doubt these vehicle registration-points
and depending on the points - you get a money-fine or in worst case the decommissioning from your bike.
And therefor is it legitime if the police-men had a suspicion.
For example ..
it´s required that all lights (brake-lights, turn-lights, head-lights, ..) had an e-Number or e-identification (e6, e13, ...)
without these identifacation it´s not allowed to mount those parts ...
my rear-/brake-lights have those identification-number ...
but the police-men criticized these lights - they where to small and not enough visible.
Now i have to go to the vehice-inspection-agency and the official expert (surveyor) must check my rear-brake-light,
if there big and light enough.
And that´s why every control by the police beeing like a lottery ...
if you had luck - the police will only see your driving-licence ...
or you have a bad day and the police decommissioned your bike,
because the angle of your licence-plade is to stall or ther had the suspicion that your db-Killer is manipulated.
